I absolutely love this series. Arata is a wonderful uke and although in the beginning of the series I was a bit concerned that he was to soft, in the end he shines with strength. I am thrilled with this series. I would have preferred to have more of Arata and much less of Ten's love life after his obsession with Arata, I am still very happy with the ending of this series. Of course I wish it would continue as I can't get enough, I still feel satisfied with this ending.Product details

I'm soooo happy to see this series completed! It's absolutely one of my favorite series ever! Volume 5 is not as good as the first two volumes, imo, but it's still good and filled with suspense and drama. I don't want to include any spoilers, so I'll leave it at that. -) It looks like is out of stock, but I bought my book directly from the publisher, so people can order from them if you want yours right away. This great series has finally come to an end. I admit the first two volumes were the best but that didn't make me stop loving and enjoying this great BL. In this volume, we get to see Arata and Yanagi still struggling to be together despite Ten's meddling and constant threatening to keep the two apart. After a fierce struggle between the three, Ten ended up stabbing Arata by mistake. Well, his intention was to stab Yanagi but Arata shielded him. To make long story short, Arata decided to stay with Yanagi and leave his brother, which hurt Ten so deep. I was a bit sad myself to see the two siblings apart.
During that time, Ten started living with Dr. Minafuji. He was Arata's doctor when he was hospitalized for the wound he got from his brother. Ten was visiting his brother late at night at the hospital and then ran into Dr. Minafuji and they started living together since that day. Ten was only using him to forget his pain and the betrayal he felt from his brother. It was obvious that the doctor was starting to develop some feelings for Ten but he also knew that these feelings won't get him anywhere as he was sure Ten is not the kind to sit still in one place and that a day will come when he will leave. At the end, Ten didn't leave and continued to stay with Minafuji but we don't know whether the mangaka meant for them to be together. I personally think they would be great together and it would make me so happy to see Ten settling down with someone who loves him a lot.
This is one volume where we don't get to see any love scenes between Arata and Yanagi but Ten and Minafuji's scenes will make up for it. I have to say that I am a bit sad that this series came to an end. I read another title by Chifumi Ochi but it wasn't as good as this one by any means. I would say this is her best, though I haven't read a lot of her works.
